How it works
Glucosamine sulfate (SFG) is similar to the substance naturally produced by the functional morphological units that “build” cartilage: chondrocytes.
In the case of osteoarthritis, the synthesis of SFG is not enough for the body’s needs and therefore supplementation is very useful, as reported by the medical literature, for the recovery of joint function.
The body uses glucosamine supplements to synthesize the proteoglycans and glycosaminaglycans that make up the cartilage matrix.
By blocking some degenerative mechanisms, glucosamine delays the evolution of arthrosis and reduces the symptoms of the disease, alleviating them, even for a few days after the interruption of treatment.
Chondroitin sulfate is an important structural component of cartilage, it attracts water into the cartilage matrix and thus stimulates the production of cartilage. It also prevents cartilage degradation by delaying joint degeneration.
MSM is a well-known sulfur compound. The joints involved in osteoarthritis and arthritis are low in sulfur.
When MSM is added, their deterioration is less rapid. Natural lubricant, the MSM substance promotes the recovery of joint function.
A combination of MSM and glucosamine protects the joints and bones more effectively than either taken separately by reducing the pain, inflammation and swelling of arthritic patients.
Hydrolyzed collagen with a short polypeptide chain.
This feature makes it particularly bioavailable.
It is produced from natural sources following a patented process that makes it easily absorbable by the body. Collagen supports proteoglycans and glycosaminoglycans in the extracellular matrix.
Being able to take in many water molecules, hyaluronic acid is also able to act as a shock absorber for mechanical shocks and as an efficient lubricant (e.g. in the synovial fluid), preventing damage to the tissue cells from physical stress.
It is no coincidence that hyaluronic acid in cartilage forms aggregates of considerable size by binding to proteoglycans, making it essential for the stability of the cartilage itself.
During joint inflammation, the hyaluronic acid structure is attacked by pro-inflammatory substances (with hyaluronidase activity), thus losing not only its structural characteristics, but also its lubricating and nutritional functionality.
These alterations are at the basis of the cartilaginous degenerative phenomena typical of arthrosis.
It contributes to normal acid / base metabolism, fatty acids, carbohydrates and protects cells from oxidative stress.
Ribolife® 44% free nucleotides
It is the only mixture available on the market made up of free nucleotides in a high percentage (44%).
Free nucleotides act as growth factors on intestinal cells, promoting their differentiation and maturation.
They increase the absorption of certain nutrients such as calcium, phosphorus and carotenodes.
They also promote the growth of bacterial flora such as lactobacilli and bifidobacteria to the detriment of the gram negative ones responsible for enteritis such as Escherichia Coli.
Ginger root contains elements called gingerols. It is commonly used to treat pain, studies have verified the beneficial effects of ginger on those suffering from arthritis and on the anti-inflammatory properties of gingerols: it has been observed that these active ingredients effectively reduce the production of substances that contribute to inflammation.
